The department offers a comprehensive range of acute Neurology services from clinics running at Basildon and Orsett Hospital sites and supports admitted patients with specialist opinion and management. The team includes Nurse Specialists in Parkinson's Disease and Multiple Sclerosis who are able to offer a high level of support to these long term patient groups. The department enjoys excellent links with Neuroscience centres for access to tertiary diagnostics and referrals.
