This general medical ward accepts both planned and emergency admissions, and specialises in care for patients with renal conditions.

In addition to general medical care, the ward provides:

Treatment for inpatients; day patients (such as kidney biopsy and fistula formation); and outpatients (such as the review of blood results for patients with poor kidney function)
Tests and investigations, both medical and surgical
Eight beds fully equipped to care for patients needing emergency haemodialysis
Blood pressure monitoring
Management of infection
End of life care for patients with renal disease

Breakfast: 8am

Lunch: 12noon

Supper: 6pm

3pm - 5pm and 6.30pm - 8pm
