Key InformationITU is for patients whose condition may be life-threatening, either through serious injury or illness, who need constant, close monitoring. These patients need one to one nursing care, equipment and medicine to support normal bodily functions. We recognise that this is a stressful environment and distressing time for patients and their relatives, and we endeavour to provide them with compassionate help and support. We aim to ensure that patients and their relatives are given sufficient information to enable them to understand the care and treatment given. While our aim is to promote health and preserve life, we recognise that sadly there are occasions when death is unavoidable; at these times we believe that the death should be pain free and dignified.Number of Beds: 7 |
