Key Information

This is a dedicated 24-hour paediatrics assessment unit with a designated waiting area and treatment room, accepting referrals from GPs, A&E and pre-arranged self-referrals. The unit provides assessment for acute illnesses, high-risk immunisations, day case investigations and short-stay treatment episodes. The service is staffed by a dedicated paediatric senior house officer and senior paediatric nurses.
