The department is made up of three gyms, a hydrotherapy pool, individual treatment areas, as well as an assessment bathroom, bedroom and kitchen.
Occupational Therapists assess and advise patients in their activities of daily living, in order to assist patients to return home and be as independent as possible. Assessments can take place on the wards as well as in the department's assessment kitchen, bathroom and bedroom.
Physiotherapists assess and treat a variety of patients, with the main being to return patients to their normal level of function. Treatment may involve classes, Hydrotherapy or one to one sessions.
