|How to contact a Chaplain|
The Chaplaincy ServiceThe Chaplaincy Service at Basildon University Hospital provides spiritual and pastoral care and support – for people who have a religious faith and those who do not.
In addition to providing an environment and facilities for personal and communal prayer and worship, the chaplaincy supports people in maintaining and developing a personal spiritual discipline appropriate to their own religious tradition.
The Chaplaincy Team offers a listening ear in difficult times, conversation, counsel and someone to pray or read scripture with patients, relatives or staff. They are also available to make pastoral visits to patients.
Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm.
There is an on-call service outside of these times.
