The Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Department provides surgical and medical treatment for people with conditions of the head and neck, ears, nose and throat.

Clinics
An ENT emergency referral clinic runs from 8am to 9am every Monday to Friday on Surgical Admissions Unit. GPs can contact on-call medical staff via switchboard and then send the patient to the ward along with a letter. Also ENT patients from Orsett Ward are now amalgamated onto Surgical Admissions Unit, where the ENT Emergency Clinic is now also held. Orsett Ward has become an escalation Ward to help A&E meet its 4-hour target.
