The next Board of Directors meeting of Basildon and Thurrock University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust will be held on Wednesday 14 March in committee rooms 1 and 2, level G, tower block, Basildon University Hospital, starting at 2.30pm.

Local people are welcome to attend our board meetings.  Members of the public are welcome to submit questions in advance or to ask questions at the end of the meeting about the discussions they have heard.

If you wish to raise a question, please contact Andrew Stride, corporate secretary, no later than Monday 12 March, on 01268 524900 ext 3943 or email:

The meeting offers the opportunity to see how Basildon and Orsett hospitals are run and the chance to meet some of the governors.

The chairman and chief executive will update the board key strategic developments.  In addition, the board will receive reports on how the trust performed in relation to the current finance position, national targets, clinical workforce, quality measures and safety initiatives.

Copies of the agenda and papers will be supplied at the meeting. Copies can also be obtained from the corporate secretary at Basildon University Hospital and will be placed on the trust website on the Friday preceding the meeting.
