Pregnant women (from 16 weeks of pregnancy onwards).
About the ward
The Mulberry Assessment Centre is an outpatient unit where women are seen when they need closer monitoring/observation than would normally be given in routine antenatal care.
Women are referred to this unit by a health professional when closer monitoring is required.
- Waiting area with cold drinking water, books and magazines.
- Toilet facilities for patients and visitors.
Food is not provided, however you may bring your own food with you. There are no facilities to cook or to reheat food. The hospital has a cafeteria in where you can buy food and drink.

Information for visitors
- Only two visitors at a time please.
- We advise that young children are not brought with you during your visit as there are very few facilities for them, however we do understand that sometimes this is unavoidable.
